Bryce Huotari has been named Manager of Coldwell Banker Commercial First Realty. As of January 2012, Bryce will fulfill managerial duties as head of the six-member commercial department, as well as continue to sell and lease commercial real estate.

In 2001, Bryce joined Coldwell Banker Commercial as a sales professional. Bryce has been involved in site selection for national chains, local businesses, and entrepreneurs throughout the region. He is a licensed real estate agent in North Dakota and Minnesota. Bryce attained his CCIM designation in Vancouver, B.C. and is a member of the Fargo-Moorhead Association of Realtors, Fargo-Moorhead Chamber of Commerce, Young Professional Network, and Commercial Exchange Group (COMEX).

FARGO, ND – December 12, 2011 –The Salvation Army announced today that this past Friday’s ”Realtor® Ring” day raised $26,145 for The Army’s annual Red Kettle campaign here in Fargo. Realtors® staffed 33 of The Army’s 34 red kettles located throughout the Fargo-Moorhead community.    An additional $4,000 is expected in matching gifts by the end of the campaign bringing the total financial contribution from the Realtors® to over $30,000.

“We’re so grateful to the Realtors® for coming together to support our ministry by ‘ringing the bells’. For the ND Realtors® Association to undertake this statewide event by providing all of the volunteers for the day was a totally amazing event,” said Captain Bill Mealy of The Salvation Army. “The Realtors® help individuals and families with their housing purchases on a regular basis.  For them to take time out of their business day to help raise funds for The Salvation Army was so appreciated.”

”Realtor® Ring” day was initiated by the ND Assn of Realtors® in 2010 when their membership rang every bell in North Dakota.  This year 10 additional states joined the effort so the Realtor®bells were ringing from  Rhode Island to Hawaii and a number of states in between.

Last week the Realtors® challenged the Law Enforcement and Fire Fighters to see which group could garner the most support for The Salvation Army in their day at the kettles.  The Realtors® currently are the front runners with Fire up the Kettles Day coming up on Dec 15^th.  The number the Fire Fighters are aiming to break is $26,145.

The Salvation Army has attained nearly 45 percent of its $810,000 goal for its 2011 campaign, which continues through December 24. With just over $445,000 left to be raised in 11 days The Salvation Army reminds everyone that no gift is too small and all of the funds raised stay local! Contributions can be deposited at any of the kettle sites or mailed to PO Box 1979, Fargo, ND  58107.

Coldwell Banker Commercial First Realty kicked off the 2011 United Way Campaign today.

With “Never Fly Solo” themed events throughout the week, we will be raising money to donate to the United Way. Last year we raised over $7,000, and this year our goal is $7,500.  Let’s get flying!
